Case study

Luxara — my own jewellery brand

A brand I started and run myself: sourcing, the storefront, packaging and delivery.

The problem

I wanted to know what it takes to run a business end to end — not just build the website for one. So I started my own: Luxara, handmade bracelets and stainless-steel cuffs.

Everything that happens before and after the website became my job too: finding the products, packing every order and getting it to the customer.

The decisions

  1. 01

Sourcing in person, from Shah Alami.

I sourced the stock myself from Shah Alami, Lahore's wholesale market — choosing every piece by hand rather than ordering blind from a catalogue.

  2. 02

My own storefront, on my own domain.

Instead of renting a marketplace listing, I built the store: a React storefront on luxara.website with its own business email, product pages, collections and prices.

  3. 03

    Packaging and delivery handled myself.

Every order is packed by me and handed to a courier, and I manage it until it reaches the customer. Doing the unglamorous part myself is how I learned where a customer's experience actually breaks.

What got built

The brand, the product line, the e-commerce site with new arrivals, a cuff collection and handmade bracelets, a custom domain and business email, and the order flow from checkout to courier. It earned verified customer reviews.
